It's SUNNY in Madras!!!

Ride across the mountain was cold and wet but we were rewarded with sunshine on the downhill side. Having dinner at the Black Bear Diner then on to Prineville.

Two down sleeping bags with air mattresses & pillows plus the same Eureka two man tent I used when I thumbed across the country in 1982. They make a tough tent!

Getting geared up

The time is getting close and it's hard to believe we leave in 5 days. Got my new vest from Love's Leathers Outpost www.lovesoutpost.com and I am ready for the next adventure. We learned a lot last year about packing for a motorcycle road trip. This weekend we will be applying that knowledge. After an oil change and a bath (for the bike) we will see how two people's stuff PLUS camping gear fits, or not.
