The rain is done (for now)
The rain is done and we will be back on the road by noon. We had quick mart salads out back and are ready to roll.
Waiting for the rain
This thunderstorm is blowing through Lolo pass and we are waiting it out under the canopy at an Exxon station. Hopefully we will be able to move on within an hour. The thunder is really starting to boom now although the torrential downpour I know is coming has not reached us yet.
Had a restful night at a nice Super 8 after pigging out at Famous Dave's. We stopped at REI and picked up some freeze dried dinners in anticipation of perhaps camping tomorrow.
The mountains just disappeared and the rain is REALLY coming down! I am ten feet back from the edge and still getting wet.
If we can get moving we expect to be back in Oregon tonight.
